Cancellation Policy
As a specialist dental practice, we strive to provide the highest quality of dental care for your child. As a small business, there are significant costs aligned with those efforts. We reserve the resources of our highly trained team for the sole purpose of treating our patients. When appointments are missed, or cancelled without adequate notice, we are unable to fill those times and, therefore, have to bear the costs of the appointment. These costs have simply become too great to cover in today’s economy.
Our administration team will send your family a confirmation SMS one week ahead of the appointment. If the appointment is changed at this time, a fee will not apply. The day prior to the appointment, you will receive a friendly reminder.
Cancelling your child’s appointment
We understand that occasionally you may have an unexpected need to reschedule the appointment. We kindly ask that you notify us at least two business days in advance to allow us the opportunity to offer it to other patients.
All appointments are exclusive reservations and thus set aside for your child alone.
For a missed appointment or cancellation with less than 48 hours (business days) notice, there is an $80 fee per patient appointment. Our policy requires the fee to be settled prior to rescheduling.
If our staff are successful in filling the appointment time, the late notice cancellation appointment fee will be refunded.
Multiple late notice cancellations
For two or more failed appointments (cancellations without adequate notice or no-shows), Prime Childrens Dental Care will require full prepayment to schedule future appointments.
We have designed these guidelines to be fair and transparent, with the goal of providing the best possible specialist care to all of our patients. By respecting our appointment, cancellation, and late arrival policies, you help us run on time and provide prompt specialist dental care.
